Opening September 19th at El Museo. An invisible thread unites the memory of the Andes with the spirit of the desert. El Museo becomes the meeting point for master artisans from Peru—such as Shipibo-Konibo artist Olga Mori, accompanied by Olinda Silvano, Lily Sandoval, Lizeth Alvarez, Salome Buenapico, Dolores Primo, Isabel Pumayali, Fidel Vara and Isabel Pumayali, Fidela Barzola, Rosa Palomino, Jose Ipanaque and Joao Socola and New Mexican artists Estella Enciñias in Villanueva, Samantha Chávez along El Cerro Gordo, and Jessica Ortíz and Felicia Rodríguez of Española. Join us as we celebrate the heritage, creativity, and memory that unites us. A special presentation made possible through a partnership between El Museo Cultural, Peruvian Folk Art of Santa Fe, and Pueblos Artesanos de Perú.
